DNA testing shows that Pilar Abel Martínez has no genetic link to Salvador Dalí, so she is not the great artist’s daughter.
The woman had been pursuing her battle to be recognized as Dalí’s illegitimate daughter for several years, but no biological remains or personal items were possessed on which to practice DNA testing.
In July, after the exhumation of the artist’s body was ordered by a Madrid judge, samples of fingernails, hair and bones were taken.
The results resulted in the loss of Pilar Martínez’s battle.
