There are 11 funding winners of Italian Council Edition 10, the international call for proposals promoted by the Ministry of Culture’s General Directorate for Contemporary Creativity to support Italian contemporary creativity, strongly committed to the promotion of Italian art and artistic, critical and curatorial research abroad.

Italian Council 10 finances an acquisition of a work produced in the last 50 years and the production of 10 new works all to be destined for Italian public collections after touring major contemporary art institutions around the world for promotional activities.

The Italian Council Evaluation Committee for the three-year period 2019-2021 is chaired by Fabio De Chirico, Director of the General Directorate for Contemporary Creativity, and is composed of Bartomeu Marí Ribas, critic and curator; Andrea Lissoni, critic, curator and artistic director of the Haus der Kunst in Munich; Claudio Varagnoli, architect and lecturer at the University of Chieti, chairman of the Technical and Scientific Committee for Contemporary Art and Architecture; and Angela Vettese, art historian, critic and lecturer at IUAV in Venice.
