For one month, Johanna Bruckner (Austria), Merve Sahin (Turkey) and Riccardo Tesorini (Italy) will be hosted on theIsland of San Giorgio Maggiore, Venice, where they will collaborate with the Centro Digitale team in the development of their artistic projects. D.A.I.R. represents an innovative art residency program dedicated to digital creativity, conceived by the Giorgio Cini Foundation to expand the traditional residential fellowships of the Vittore Branca Center. The initiative offers artists, creatives, developers and specialists in new technologies applied to art and culture the opportunity to live and work for a month on the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore.
The project aims to foster the encounter between art, science and technological innovation, promoting interdisciplinary practices developed from the digital data produced through the digitization activities of the Giorgio Cini Foundation’s archival fonds and collections.
