From November 15 to December 2, 2018 at the Manzoni Theater in Milan is the show Vincent van Gogh. The Deafening Smell of White, by Stefano Massini. Playing the role of the great Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh (Zundert, 1853 - Auvers-sur-Oise, 1890) will be Alessandro Preziosi, who has a long series of theater, television and film experiences under his belt (the last historical character he played was Filippo Brunelleschi in the first season of the series I Medici). Preziosi notably plays van Gogh during his time in the Saint-Paul de Mausole nursing home, in one of the most difficult moments of his existence. An interpretation with which Preziosi, he explained to Ansa, would like to “succeed in making people understand not so much who Van Gogh was as an artist, but Van Gogh as a man with respect to his art.
