Treviso, lakes in augmented reality for the fourteenth edition of Lago Film Fest

The 14th edition of Lago Film Fest will be held in Revine Lago, Treviso, on Sunday, July 22. For the occasion, “Augmented Lakes” an augmented reality art trail designed to enrich a natural landscape by integrating with the surrounding nature will be presented. This project, developed by Bepart, aims to attract new audiences, activate the imagination and the production of new legends related to the lake environment and also aimed at young children. On the path along the north shore of the two communicating lakes, five permanent art installations consisting of a metal frame flanked by a graphic information board have been placed.

Using a special app, it is possible to frame the five graphic panels from which digital animations created specifically for the landscape will be activated, animating and transforming the 5 installations into 5 works of digital art.

For the realization of this project, 26 artists including illustrators, animation designers, 3D artists and videomakers were involved, who during two weekends of workshops in Revine Lago got to know the local area, exploring the nature trail and learning about the local inhabitants, its history and legends.
