Keith Haring's art arrives in Sicily for the first time

From June 29 to September 16, 2018, Palermo celebrates Keith Haring sixty years after his birth with the exhibition"Party of Life."

The exhibition, which will be staged at Villa Zito, will present for the first time in Sicily the art of the famous contemporary American artist through works from important public and private collections.

The exhibition aims to recall the social message of Haring’s works, as well as their extremely innovative value with a unique, transversal and iconic visual language.

Nonprofit associations such as 4Children and NPS Italia onlus will collaborate on the exhibition project, respecting Keith Haring’s commitment to the world of childhood and illness.

The exhibition is curated by Diana Di Nuzzo and is organized by Contemporary Concept, in collaboration with Fondazione Sicilia, Polo Museale Regionale d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Palermo, Regione Sicilia, Assessorato dei Beni Culturali e dell’Identità Siciliana, Palermo Capitale Italiana della Cultura, Liceo F. Arcangeli - Ufficio Scolastico Regionale E.R. and ABABO.
