Riflexion, double solo exhibition of Heinz Lechner and Anna Di Prospero in Mantua

From May 26 to July 15, 2018, the Ducal Palace in Mantua hosts Riflexione, the double solo exhibition of Heinz Lechner and Anna Di Prospero.

LaGalleria - contemporary art space of Palazzo Ducale in Mantua hosts from May 26 to July 15, 2018 the double solo exhibition of Heinz Lechner (Schwaz, Austria, 1954) and Anna Di Prospero (Rome, 1987).

The photography exhibition Riflexione presents to the public twenty shots by Heinz Lechner and twenty by Anna Di Prospero: artists of different generations and nationalities linked by their interest in architecture.
The latter is considered by both to be a living body capable of reviving the time and space of its period of origin.

Heinz Lechner observes reality through the camera lens; he often uses mirrors or reflective surfaces in his works. In fact, his shots were exhibited in the Hall of Mirrors in the Ducal Palace.

Anna Di Prospero uses herself to relate to contemporary architectural icons or becomes herself the measure of some of the Doge’s Palace’s iconic environments. Her shots also focus on the theme of affection.

The exhibition is curated by Peter Assmann and Renata Casarin and is organized in collaboration with Art Verona Level0.
