Auctions from Oct. 27 to Nov. 2: contemporary art, design and collections


As we do every Wednesday, the appointment with our space dedicated to art buyers is renewed: so here are the auctions from October 27 to November 2, 2021.

Today, in our auction column, we will look at the best deals between October 27 and November 2.

Pandolfini is featuring the Esso Collection timed auction. This auction, which runs from Oct. 28 to Nov. 3, features works of contemporary art for sale.

Two auctions at Farsetti’s: on Oct. 29 there is Important Antique Furniture and Paintings; on Oct. 30 there will be 19th and 20th century Paintings and Sculptures.

Today, Oct. 27, Cambi is featuring the Design 200 auction. Lots include a hanging lamp by Carlo Scarpa and a sofa by Gio Ponti.

On Oct. 28, at 4 p.m., Finarte opens the Modern and Contemporary Art auction in Rome. This auction features works by Fabrizio Clerici and Jean Cocteau, among others.

Three auctions at Boetto: on Oct. 27 there is Design and Decorative Arts of the 20th Century; on Oct. 28 there will be Murano and Selected.

At Maison Bibelot there is the Fashion Vintage auction through Oct. 29 and Antique Furniture and Paintings from a Villa in Fiesole through Nov. 9.

Two auctions at Christie’s: on Oct. 28 there is Art of the Islamic and Indian Worlds Including Oriental Rugs and Carpets; on Nov. 2 and 3 the auction Collection Daniel Lebard, sous le prisme de la modernité will open.

On October 27 and 28, Sotheby’s has scheduled The Ricky Jay Collection auction selling books, posters prints and other items collected by Ricky Jay.
