A wire mesh monument by Edoardo Tresoldi, this time in Singapore

Edoardo Tresoldi arrives in Singapore where he exhibits 'Cube Temple,' a large temple made of wire mesh.

After astonishing Italy and Europe with his wire mesh monuments, young sculptor Edoardo Tresoldi (Cambiago, 1987) is now starring in Singapore from September 13 to 16, 2018, on the occasion of the Formula 1 Grand Prix, with his Cube Temple, exhibited at the Cargo 39 headquarters. The event where the large metal temple will be on display is titled Cube Temple. An ethereal creation of wire mesh in Singapore, is curated by Nadia Stefanel and is sponsored by DZ Engineering, a company that has created the lighting systems for the Marina Bay circuit and several historic buildings in Singapore. The Cube Temple is a wire mesh temple that creates a dynamic and iridescent space in which it becomes possible to experience an ethereal dimension, while the light encourages an interpretation of the work subject to different moods.

Roberto Grilli, general manager of DZ Engineering, says, “We met Edoardo in 2016, lighting his first masterpiece: the Early Christian Basilica of Siponto. We are proud to bring this Italian excellence to Singapore, with an installation of great artistic and cultural importance.”

The exhibition is produced in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in Singapore, ICCS and the Emilia-Romagna Region, and will be open to the public from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
