“Every year, GEMA celebrates the vast heritage of knowledge related to artistic craftsmanship,” says Luciano Barsotti, president of the OMA Association. “The initiative of the European Artistic Crafts Days born in France and shared by our Association since 2008 has stimulated us this year to bring to the public’s attention the value of the transmission of skills, of training young people in artisan crafts to create turnover in the sector. The battle becomes even more challenging for this 2021 in the midst of the pandemic crisis that is greatly affecting the sector.”

“It will be a necessarily different edition, but for this reason even more heartfelt,” explains Giovanni Lamioni, president of Artex. “We want to tell about the world of craftsmanship that resists, that wants to assert itself for the quality of its productions and the professionalism of its masters through an always open confrontation with the world of culture. At this time, the synergy of intent and collaboration among all operators is essential to return to live craftsmanship fully and with even greater awareness.”
