The 34th edition of the Florence Biennale Internazionale dell’Antiquariato, a landmark event for the international antique art and collecting market, has been officially set by Secretary General Bruno Botticelli. The event will take place from September 26 to October 4, 2026, once again confirming as its venue Palazzo Corsini, a historic mansion in the heart of the Tuscan city that has always hosted this biennial event. The preview, or preview reserved for a select audience consisting of collectors, superintendents, museum directors and VIP card holders, will take place on Friday, September 25, the day before the official opening.
“It is a great honor for me,” said Botticelli, “in my new role as Secretary General, to be able to confirm the return of the Biennale, which since 1959 has been the place of Italian art and antiques before the world. I would like the appointment with the BIAF to become more and more an essential event for Florence, which cannot be missed. An appointment like the Explosion of the Chariot in the days of Easter, the great premieres of the Maggio Musicale, the Calcio Storico in Santa Croce, the events of Pitti, the great exhibitions of the Florentine museums, all events that, together with the Biennale, bring to Florence an international public that loves art, antiques, music and beauty. All this thanks to the help of the institutions, the support of historical sponsors and I hope new ones, the development of more and more synergies and collaborations with the economic and cultural realities of the city.”
