In Vinci special projections featuring Leonardo's works on the Conti Guidi Castle

Special projections featuring works by Leonardo are returning to the Conti Guidi Castle for the third consecutive year. They will be visible until September 15, 2023.

In Vinci, for the third consecutive year, projections are returning to the Conti Guidi Castle, home of the Leonardo Museum. The special lights are part of the Leonardo celebrations and have been had installed by the Municipality of Vinci, thanks in part to a financial contribution from Toscana Energia.

The projections will be visible until September 15. The Lady with an Ermine will be seen projected on the tower of the Conti Guidi Castle and Leonardo’s Aerial Vine, on the facade of the castle. The latter is the model that is part of the collection of the Leonardo Museum, which celebrates its 70th anniversary this year (it was opened in 1953).

“The projections will enliven Vinci during the spring and summer nights,” said Sara Iallorenzi, deputy mayor of Vinci with responsibility for culture, “making it even more evocative. In this way, visitors who come to Vinci will be able to benefit from the extraordinary cultural offer but also from the spectacle of the projections: it will be even more beautiful to take a walk at night. We would like to thank Toscana Energia, which again this year did not fail to provide support.”
