From Saturday, October 11 to Sunday, November 30, 2025, the Cathedral of the Image in Florence will host a new immersive experience dedicated to the most famous puppet ever: Pinocchio.
Inside Pinocchio - Immersive Exhibition is an exhibition designed especially for children, but capable of captivating the whole family, transforming Carlo Collodi ’s masterpiece into avisual and sensory journey.
The immersive event recounts the adventures of the wooden puppet through evocative animations projected on the walls of the former church of Santo Stefano al Ponte. The narration, divided into short episodes, traces the events of Pinocchio and his most famous characters: from the sweet Blue Fairy to the wise Jiminy Cricket, from the Cat and the Fox to the Dog-Fish.
Two exclusive multimedia experiences, reserved for VIP ticket holders, will also be offered in the Crypt of the Cathedral of the Image. The first, Inside Pinocchio VR Experience, thanks to virtual reality, allows visitors to experience the story firsthand: with Meta Quest 2 VR visors, the public will be able to identify with the famous puppet and explore his world from completely new perspectives. The second activity, on the other hand, is the Magic Blackboard, an interactive creative space where adults and children can give free rein to their imagination and create their own digital masterpiece... before turning into donkeys!
