In Padua, a series of six concerts, titled '6 for Art,' is funding the restoration of a 14th-century painting in the Basilica del Santo.

After Piano-Links and Homage to Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, a new series of benefit-art concerts entitled 6 for Art arrives in Padua. Six concerts will be held from Oct. 7 to Dec. 16 to raise money for the restoration of the 14th-century Virgin and Child Jesus between St. Anthony and St. Francis kept in the Basilica of St. Anthony.

As with the previous two cycles, which made possible the restoration of the frescoes of St. Louis of Toulouse and St. Lucy, 6 for Art is organized by MoMùs-More Music Association in collaboration with the Venerable Ark of St. Anthony.

The concerts all start at 6 p.m. and the ticket price is 10 euros (5 euros reduced students) with the possibility to further contribute to the restoration work with free offerings in addition to the minimum ticket price.
