#26reasonstomakeart: if you are an artist and want to put yourself out there, take a look!

How many reasons do you know for making art? So many, certainly. Maybe even more than we give you, but we want to focus on the number we are proposing, and that is: twenty-six. So: we give you #26reasonstomakeart. And #26motivestomakeart is the title of an interesting contest, which was presented on Monday, September 29 at the Milan Art Gallery and which can be a great springboard for you! Are you between the ages of 18 and 26? Are you an artist and have talent? Very well: you are eligible to participate in the competition!

In the meantime, we would like to emphasize that this is a totally free and nonprofit contest: no charge for you, but you will have many honors if you turn out to be among the 26 winners. In fact, the contest intends to combine art and fashion: thus, your artwork will be reproduced on clothing, garments, sunglasses and whatnot, and each product with your artwork will have a label bearing your photo and biography. So not only a way to see your artwork everywhere, but a very interesting way to make yourself known!

And just think that these products will also be presented on an exceptional stage: the 2015 edition of Pitti Uomo in Florence, with passages on Class TV and TV Moda. And finally, all the works will be displayed in a group exhibition at the Milan Art Gallery.

Who will be there to evaluate your work? The jury will be chaired by art critic Vittorio Sgarbi and will be composed of Stefano Bidini, famous fashion photographer, cartoonist and cartoonist Giorgio Forattini, TV Moda host Jo Squillo, singer-songwriter Cristiano De André, Radio Italia director Antonio Vandoni, and writer Alessandro Meluzzi. The award is the brainchild of Vittorio Gucci, who strongly wanted #26motiviperfarearte to promote young talents in Italian art.
