Rome, VIVE's extraordinary evening openings return - Vittoriano and Palazzo Venezia, June 2

Starting June 2, on the occasion of Republic Day, and every Friday until September 26, the extraordinary evening openings of VIVE - Vittoriano and Palazzo Venezia return.

VIVE - a museum complex that includes the Vittoriano and Palazzo Venezia - is once again offering special evening openings of the Vittoriano. From June 2, 2025, on the occasion of the 79th Republic Day - an event that has the Altar of the Fatherland at the heart of the celebrations - and until September 26, every Friday the monument, along with its iconic Panoramic Terrace, will remain accessible until 11:30 p.m., with the last entry scheduled for 10:45 p.m.

Also scheduled each evening are workshops for children and families at 7:30 p.m., and guided tours for adults at 8 p.m., entrusted to Opera Laboratori Fiorentini.

The Panoramic Terrace will give visitors a magnificent view of Rome: among the majestic Winged Victories, the night sky and the city lights, it will be possible to admire and capture the unique image of the Eternal City.

In addition, those who visit the Sommoportico and the Propylaea, which returned to the public last year after a long closure, will be able to appreciate the ambitious design conceived by Giuseppe Sacconi, winner of the competition for the Vittoriano in 1884, and understand the close connection between its architecture and the surrounding urban context.
