Five new gardens join the Great Italian Gardens network

Five new gardens join the Grandi Giardini Italiani network. These further enrich the 2026 edition of the Grandi Giardini Italiani Guide, which has been published for twenty-eight years and is a reference tool for those wishing to discover some 150 gardens spread across twelve Italian regions.

Five new gardens join the Grandi Giardini Italiani network, further expanding the network of places dedicated to the enhancement of landscape, botany and art.

They are Ca’ del Bosco, in Erbusco, in the heart of Franciacorta, a wine property where vineyards, contemporary architecture and works of environmental art dialogue within the agricultural landscape. Next comes the Limonaia del Castèl, in Limone sul Garda, historical evidence of the tradition of Garda lemon houses and the relationship between terraced cultivation and architectural structure overlooking the lake. Also joining the circuit is Castiglion del Bosco, in Montalcino, a vast estate nestled in the landscape of the Val d’Orcia, where gardens, vineyards and rural heritage are integrated with the natural Tuscan environment. In the Marches, in Treia, Villa La Quiete, a historic residence surrounded by a park characterized by mature trees and green spaces linked to the tradition of country residences, joins the network. Finally, in Taormina, Trevelyan Park, also known as Villa Comunale, a nineteenth-century public garden overlooking the sea, is distinguished by its exotic essences, ornamental architecture and evocative scenic paths.

These new additions further enrich the2026 edition of the Great Italian Gardens Guide, which has been published for twenty-eight years and has become a reference tool for those wishing to discover some 150 gardens distributed in twelve Italian regions. The guide, with up-to-date descriptions and artistic and tourist insights, aims to promote awareness of a widespread heritage, often located in small towns or rural settings, far from the main flows of traditional tourism. The cover of the 2026 edition is dedicated to the work 0121-1110=115075 (2015) by artist Jaehyo Lee, installed at Arte Sella on the Valsugana plateau in Trentino. The choice recalls the presence within the network of eleven properties dedicated to contemporary art, places where art meets landscape and nature.

For the new season, the website www.grandigiardini.it, a platform through which it is possible to purchase entrance tickets, consult the calendar of events and follow the progress of the main blooms throughout the year, has also been renewed. The Great Italian Gardens Guide 2026 is available online at the official website, in the bookshops of the network’s member gardens and by phone reservation on 031 756211.
