Art on TV Sept. 13-19: Modigliani, Dante, Manet, Renoir, the Vatican

Are you back from vacation? Then here are the TV programs dedicated to art from September 13 to 19.

On Rai 5 Ettore Spalletti as he is will be broadcast on Tuesday, September 14 at 7:18 p.m. (repeat Wednesday 15 at 6:25 p.m.). On Thursday 16 at 6:11 p.m. MilleniArts returns, while at 7:09 p.m. there will be Balla the Lord of Light. Also returning on Friday 17 at 9:07 p.m. is Art Night with an episode entirely dedicated to the 700th anniversary of Dante Alighieri’s death.

On Rai Storia episodes 32, 24, 80, 88 and 14 of #Maestri will be broadcast Monday through Friday at 5:50 p.m. On Wednesday, September 15 at 11 a.m. there will be an episode of Italia viaggio nella bellezza entitled Dante, ancient and honorable citizen of Florence.

On Sky Arte from Monday to Friday at 11:15 a.m. there will be reruns of The Art of France and from Monday to Wednesday at 12:15 p.m. there will be reruns of The Baroque - From St. Peter’s to St. Paul, while Thursday and Friday will be replaced by Rococo. Monday, Sept. 13 at 4:20 p.m. Modigliani and His Secrets (pictured) returns, while starting at 9:15 p.m. Painting the Sea and The Musée d’Orsay - The Spectacle of Art will be broadcast. Tuesday 14 at 4:30 p.m. we will review Joan Mirò - The Inner Fire, while at 7:35 p.m. there will be Dante - The Vision of Art. Wednesday 15 starting at 3:35 p.m. will be The Vatican Library and The Secrets and Treasures of the Vatican. On Thursday 16 starting at 9:15 p.m. there will be Manet - Artist’s Impressions, Renoir, the Girl with the Blue Ribbon and The Mystery of the Lost Masterpieces (they will be shown in repeats on Friday 17 starting at 2:40 p.m.). On Friday 17 at 8:05 p.m., the appointment with Luce Social Club returns.
