Sky Arte is offering today a day entirely dedicated to photography with themed focuses and documentaries to mark World Photography Day, which falls precisely on August 19.
At 3:50 p.m., episodes of the series Le fotografe dedicated to Guia Besana, Ilaria Magliocchetti Lombi, Sara Lorusso, Carolina Amoretti, Maria Clara Macrì, Roselena Ramistella, Zoe Natale Mannella and Simona Ghizzoni will be broadcast.
Instead, the photography-focused evening will begin at 9:15 p.m. with the documentary Steve McCurry - The Quest for Color. This will be followed at 10:55 p.m. by the film Garry Winogrand - All Things Are Photographable, at 00:30 a.m. Robert Frank - Don’t blink, and at 01:50 a.m. In Search of Vivian Maier.
Programming will conclude at 03:15 with the documentary Helmut Newton - Fragments of Intimacy.
