Art as a cure for eating disorders. In Perugia the exhibition-workshop

The Il Pellicano Association in agreement with Asl 1 was the first Center in Perugia to care for people with Eating and Nutrition Disorders. From Jan. 7 to 22, 2023, the Apollo Room of Palazzo della Penna will host a painting exhibition entitled FLOW in the city, the result of the artistic expressiveness workshop led by painter Gaetano Mongiardi and psychologist Marina Baleta.

Here the artist exhibits his work and opens a series of workshops related to the urban theme in collaboration with the “Maria Montessori” International Center and the Stone Roots Association.

Collateral Events - Scheduled Workshops:

Jan. 14-15-22, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. - Workshop with pupils of the International Montessori Center Perugia. The workshop led by painter Gaetano Mongiardi and psychologist Marina Baleta, guided by narration on the history of the city by Giuseppe Liccardo.

Jan. 19 2:30-6:30 p.m. - Training day on eating and nutrition disorders with professionals from The Pelican Association.

Jan. 21 10 a.m.-12 p.m. - Let’s Embrace the Walls - Workshop with pupils of the International Montessori Center Perugia. The workshop led by painter Gaetano Mongiardi and psychologist Marina Baleta, guided by narration on the history of the city by the Radici di Pietra Association.

The exhibition is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Closed Mondays.
