October 6, 2018 marks the return of 'Invitation to the Palace,' the event during which banks open their historic locations showing their art treasures to the public.

The appointment with Invitation to the Palace, the event with which Italian banks open their historic headquarters showing their art treasures to the public, is renewed again this year. The 2018 edition, number XVII of the event, is held on Saturday, October 6, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., in all regions of Italy. In all banks and banking foundations participating in the initiative, admission will be free and the whole thing will be enlivened by exhibitions, workshops and concerts, and visitors will be accompanied on their journey through the banks by specialized guides.

There will be about 100 palaces to visit in fifty Italian cities. Invitation to the Palace is organized by ABI - Associazione Bancaria Italiana, under the High Patronage of the President of the Italian Republic and under the patronage of the Italian National Commission for UNESCO, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism and the Ministry of Education, University and Research. For all information, it is possible to consult the event’s website, http://palazzi.abi.it (where there is also a list of open palaces, divided by region), or by calling from Oct. 1 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 06 6767400, or by sending an email to invitoapalazzo@abi.it.
