On the occasion of the XXI Archaeological Tourism Exchange, the Paestum Museum of Paestum is reopening the doors of its storerooms with the initiative From Darkness to Light, to be held from November 15 to 18, 2018. An experimental project that will become stable from Christmas, the event will include guided tours in Italian and English to discover the “behind the scenes” of the museum. Visitors will be able to enter the heart of the archaeological museum and experience an out-of-the-ordinary tour, adding only €1 to the cost of the ticket to the Park (€10).

Explains director Gabriel Zuchtriegel: “In developing the route, we were inspired by the behind-the-scenes tours that many theaters around the world offer. Our goal is also to show archaeology behind the scenes. The tour will be a special experience.”

Groups of 20 people can participate in the tours. lasting about 20 minutes. The ticket office opens at 2:30 pm, 3:30 pm, 4:30 pm, 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm.
