The program of evening openings at the National Gallery of Palazzo Spinola in Genoa continues: from July 1 to September 16, every Saturday, the museum is in fact open until 10:30 p.m. (last admission at 10 p.m.). A total of 14 continuous hours of opening, plus many appointments and guided tours.

In fact, every Saturday there will be a different appointment with guided tours by Gallery staff-all included in the ticket price. “The guided tours,” reads the initiative’s flyer, “in addition to being an opportunity to experience Palazzo Spinola in the special atmosphere of summer evenings, each month will be enriched by the in-depth study of different themes.” In particular, July will be dedicated to the characters who lived in the Palace and who will be presented through the works preserved in the museum. August, on the other hand, will be the month dedicated to symbols, history, religion and mythology in a journey that will touch on many of the Gallery’s works. Finally, September will feature the three great masterpieces: Giovanni Pisano’s Justice, Antonello da Messina ’sEcce homo and Pieter Paul RubensEquestrian Portrait of Giovanni Carlo Doria.
