Virtual tour and online presentation of works for the Poldi Pezzoli in Milan.

Milan's Poldi Pezzoli Museum participates in #museichiusimuseiaperti and offers artwork presentations and virtual tours on social media.

The Poldi Pezzoli Museum launches #PoldiPezzoliStories on its Facebook and Instagram profiles.
Each day, a work from its collections and the museum venue itself will be presented and narrated, allowing the public to discover the behind-the-scenes story. The Poldi Pezzoli is therefore participating in the #museichiusimuseiaperti campaign and revealing itself through the treasures it holds.

“In this moment of great difficulty that requires rigor and collective participation in order to come out of this dark period, the museum has chosen to accompany you in its halls through a narrative, a deeper knowledge of its works. This will be the way to approach when you come back to see these masterpieces up close with a greater wealth of knowledge, which is the daily work that the museum does, because this is its mission: to study the works to share the history, our past, and to give the tools, to understand their quality and beauty,” said in a video on social media the museum’s director, Annalisa Zanni.

Through an innovative project for RCS Academy, one of the museum’s guides led participants on a virtual guided tour through the halls, admiring the masterpieces housed here-a virtual tour made possible by Google Arts & Culture. In addition, a gamification idea themed “puzzle path to the museum” was launched.
