A group of Dutch patrons has decided to fund the restoration of the Fountain of the Bees in Piazza Barberini in Rome.

The Fountain of the Bees in Piazza Barberini in Rome has been restored thanks to a group of Dutch patrons who decided to fund the restoration work after vandalism by Feyenoord fans at the Fountain of the Barcaccia in 2015.

The Dutch ambassador said, “We are transforming an ugly affair for which most Dutch people were ashamed. I am happy and proud.”
