MiBACT hires, start of competition for 250 administrative officers

Big competition for 2,133 administrative officers in 18 central state administrations kicks off. 250 will go to the Ministry of Cultural Heritage.

The Ministry of Cultural Heritage is hiring again: kicking off the competition for 250 administrative officers falling under the Single Administrative Officers Competition that will recruit 2,133 permanent staff in 18 different central administrations. The notice was published yesterday in the Official Gazette and there is time until July 25 to apply. Workers will be placed in Area III, salary position/salary band F1, or equivalent categories or levels.

The application for admission to the competitionmust be submitted exclusively electronically, through the Public Digital Identity System (SPID), by filling out the appropriate electronic form on the “Step-One 2019” system, which can be reached on the Internet network at https://www.ripam.cloud within a deadline of 15 days from the day following the date of publication of the notice in the Official Gazette of the Republic - IV Special Series “Competitions and Examinations,” No. 50 of June 30, 2020 (thus by July 15: however, the deadline has been extended to July 25).

A bachelor’s degree is required to participate. The competition will be held with a pre-selection test (the RIPAM Commission reserves the right to hold if the number of candidates who have applied is more than twice the number of places advertised), a written test for those who have passed the pre-selection, and an oral test for those who have passed the written. Pre-selection and written will be held at decentralized locations and exclusively through the support of computer instrumentation. The oral may also be held by videoconference. A ranking list will then be drawn up from which the winners will be named.

To participate in the competition, a nonrefundable participation fee of 10 euros must be paid by 11 p.m. on July 25. In the pre-selection test (a test with fifty multiple-choice questions to be completed in a maximum of seventy minutes) there will be twenty-five aptitude questions to test logical-deductive, logical-mathematical and critical-verbal reasoning skills, five on English language (B1 level) and twenty on constitutional law, administrative law and accounting of the state and public agencies. Disabled persons with a disability of 80 percent or more will be exempt from the pre-selection. The written will consist of solving fifty multiple-choice questions: forty are on public law, civil law, organization and management of public administrations, state accounting and elements of public economics; ten are situational questions related to organizational and management issues falling within the scope of organizational behavior studies (the questions will describe concrete work situations, with respect to which it is intended to assess the candidates’ judgment, asking them to decide, among predefined alternatives of possible courses of action, which one they consider most appropriate). The oral test will consist of an interdisciplinary interview on the subjects of the written test and assessments of English proficiency and digital skills.

Successful candidates will be assigned to the destination administrations chosen on the basis of preferences expressed according to the order of ranking.
