Today, EDF recreates that same flame, transforming it into an all-electric commemorative version capable of evoking the values of peace, friendship and global unity that the Games celebrated. This shared project pays tribute to the spirit of the Paris 2024 Games while looking to the future, merging memory, present and aspiration into a single symbolic gesture.
The success of Paris 2024 was extraordinary, and all those who took part are committed to ensuring that its legacy lives on through time. That is why the President of the Republic, together with the Mayor of Paris and CNOSF, have decided to extend the Brazier until the Los Angeles Games in 2028.
