Andrea Fusani

Andrea Fusani, storico dell’arte, si occupa principalmente di scultura, mercato e storia del lavoro artistico nel lungo Settecento. Dopo la laurea in Beni Culturali, conseguita a Pisa nel 2001, ha lavorato a lungo nel settore privato organizzando eventi, mostre e spettacoli. Dal 2019 è tornato a dedicarsi a tempo pieno alla ricerca e, nel 2023, ha conseguito il Dottorato di ricerca interuniversitario toscano (Università di Firenze, Pisa e Siena) con una tesi sul mercato della scultura tra Carrara e i paesi europei (1742-1814). È stato borsista dottorale, borsista di ricerca e collaboratore a contratto presso il Dipartimento di Civiltà e Forme del Sapere dell’Università di Pisa, lavorando nell’ambito della convenzione tra l’Ateneo e la Galleria degli Uffizi. Ha pubblicato vari saggi scientifici e il volume Pietro Leopoldo I Granduca di Toscana, un ritratto inedito. Domenico Andrea Pelliccia (1736-1821), Milano, 2024. È perito stimatore iscritto al ruolo e collabora con gallerie di alto antiquariato. Dirige il progetto di valorizzazione, apertura e restauro di Palazzo Sarteschi Del Medico Staffetti a Carrara.
