The initiative also includes the two annual editions of Cinema in Festa, a five-year project (2022-2026) conceived by ANEC and ANICA with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the collaboration of the David di Donatello - Academy of Italian Cinema. The two sessions planned for 2025 will be held from June 8 to 12 and September 21 to 25, during which the ticket price remains set at €3.50 for all films, regardless of the nationality of the production.

The goal of the initiative is to incentivize audiences to return to theaters, to enhance the collective cinema experience while supporting the Italian and European audiovisual sector.

“After grossing extraordinary results in past editions, with ’Cinema Revolution 2025’ we kick off another season,” comments Undersecretary for Culture Lucia Borgonzoni, “of promotions and highly anticipated titles. Reduced ticket prices to the public and rich programming (also thanks to the presence of international product) represent a winning combination, which we are sure will help fuel in the audience the desire to experience the thrill of cinema on the big screen again this summer.”
