In Città della Pieve, the exhibition celebrating Perugino in his hometown and on the 500th anniversary of his death kicks off guided tours behind closed doors and at night.

Every evening in August and every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in September, at 9 p.m., it is indeed possible to participate in a guided tour of the exhibition behind closed doors and during evening hours. The series ofPerugino 500 by night appointments, made possible thanks to co-financing from the Region of Umbria and the Ministry of Tourism, will allow participants to retrace Perugino’s career and admire the works of the other artists in the exhibition in a guided tour with a limited number of participants. The guided tour is included in the cost of the entrance ticket.

However, for those who prefer to visit the exhibition during its usual opening hours, every day continuously from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., guided tours are also active Monday through Sunday, at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. For night tours and those scheduled every day, reservations are highly recommended and can be made by sending an email to info@peruginocittadellapieve.it.



The visit, independently or with a guide, to the exhibition curated by Vittoria Garibaldi, Francesco Federico Mancini and Nicoletta Baldini, with the intervention of Antonio Natali, and organized by the City of Città della Pieve thanks also to the contribution of the “Promoting Committee of the celebrations for the fifth centenary of the death of the painter Pietro Vannucci known as Perugino,” allows theaccess, with a single ticket, to the three exhibition venues of Palazzo Della Corgna, the Museo Civico Diocesano di Santa Maria dei Servi and theOratorio di Santa Maria dei Bianchi where twenty-seven masterpieces from the most important Italian and foreign museums can be admired. The masterpieces that Pietro Vannucci left in his hometown dialogue on the occasion of the exhibition with works exhibited not only by Perugino himself, but also by other Renaissance masters such as Ghirlandaio, Cosimo Rosselli, and Pinturicchio.
