Marco Goldin returns to Vicenza with an exhibition on Van Gogh


Starting in October, Vicenza will host a major exhibition on Vincent Van Gogh curated by Marco Goldin at the Basilica Palladiana.

“The Greatest Van Gogh” is how the exhibition that will occupy the halls of the Basilica Palladiana in Vicenza from October 7 has been called. The exhibition will be the result of a new agreement between curator Marco Goldin ’s Linea d’Ombra company and the City of Vicenza: Goldin has already worked in the Venetian city between 2012 and 2015 with three major exhibitions.

The title of the exhibition dedicated to Vincent Van G ogh will be Van Gogh. Between the Grain and the Sky and has been announced as the largest monographic exhibition dedicated to the Dutch genius ever held in Italy: one hundred and twenty works, including paintings and drawings, will arrive in Vicenza. The exhibition will close on Sunday, April 8, 2018. The organization has promised “a very special cut, useful to retrace in a new way the entire life” of Van Gogh. Main sponsor of the event will be Segafredo Zanetti. The opening date for ticket reservations has also been set: it will be possible to book admission from Monday, May 15, from 9 a.m., by calling the Linea d’Ombra call center, or directly from the organizing company’s website.
