First work from Hirst's exhibition in Venice unveiled

On Monday night, the first work from Damien Hirst's much-anticipated exhibition appeared in front of Venice's Palazzo Grassi

On the night of Monday, March 3, a huge bronze statue nearly eight meters high depicting a young man on horseback being enveloped by a dragon was placed outside Palazzo Grassi in Venice, where the highly anticipated exhibition entirely dedicated to Damien Hirst will open to the public on April 9, 2017.

The sculpture titled"The Fate of a Banished Man (Rearing)"would be the first unveiled work of the exhibition"Treasures from the Wreck of Unbelievable"; about 200 unpublished works divided between Palazzo Grassi and Punta della Dogana for an exhibition whose contents are still shrouded in mystery.
