Padua hosts the ninth edition of The Colors of the Sacred: illustration review

Through June 24, 2018, the Diocesan Museum of Padua is hosting the ninth edition of The Colors of the Sacred, an international illustration exhibition. The theme is the body.

The ninth edition of"The Colors of the Sacred" is underway at the Diocesan Museum of Padua until June 24, 2018.

The theme of this edition is the body, understood in its physical aspects, in its relationship with the environment, with people and with the sacred, and finally in its relationship with diversity and disability.

The international illustration exhibition has always been an opportunity for discussion and dialogue: illustration is universal, breaking down barriers and conveying emotions and information to everyone with immediacy.

About a hundred illustrators were invited to tell their vision of the body: among the names present were Martin Jarrie (France), Gabriel Pacheco (Mexico), Javier Zabala (Spain), Anna Castagnoli, Giovanni Manna and Simone Rea (Italy).

Many activities were planned for schools, families, youth and adult groups.

Andrea Nante, director of the festival, said this large exhibition-workshop will be enriched by events, initiatives related to the world of art, dance and music.
