The retrospective exhibition dedicated to Botero, which was scheduled to end Feb. 25, on view at AMO Arena Museo Opera - Palazzo Forti in Verona has been extended until April 22, 2018.

Visitors will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge related to the Colombian-born artist famous throughout the world for his unmistakable painting style.
His paintings immediately bring to mindLatin America with its people, animals, and brightly colored vegetation.

About fifty works chronicle Fernando Botero’s more than fifty years of artistic activity, spanning a period from the 1950s to the present.

Among the masterpieces on display are The Arnolfini Spouses (2006), Fornarina après Raphael (2009) and Christ Crucified (2000).

The exhibition is curated by Rudy Chiappini in collaboration with the artist himself.
