From Fondazione CR Firenze ten scholarships of 8,000 euros each in contemporary art


The Fondazione CR Firenze is making available 10 scholarships of 8,000 euros each for contemporary art projects: recipients, young people under 35.

The Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze kicks off the call for Contemporary Art and New Professionalism in Covid-19 time: the institution is making available 80,000 euros divided into ten scholarships of 8,000 euros each, aimed at ten graduates under 35, with the goal of carrying out cultural projects in the field of contemporary art. Applications can be received by Fondazione CR Firenze from October 15 to November 20, 2020.

Young people under the age of 35, in possession of a degree or professional technical diploma consistent with the submitted project and entities in the field ofcontemporary art based in the Metropolitan City of Florence will be eligible to participate in the call. Collaborative projects must be aimed at the implementation of cultural activities in the field of contemporary art, with particular reference to these disciplines: painting, sculpture, photography, cinema, video-art, theater, music, dance, ballet and other forms of plastic art. The young collaborator’s activities and resume should cover an area of focus among: digital innovation; fundraising; administration and management control; marketing strategies and audience analysis; communication and promotion; publishing at scholarly journals; art creation; education and didactics; curating and organizing exhibitions and installations; organizing events and festivals; and conservation, cataloging and inventory.

Fondazione CR Firenze, which has already allocated 1.5 million euros for the sector’s emergency, continues with this call for proposals its focus on supporting operators, particularly those working in the field of contemporary art.”
