An evening entirely dedicated to Van Gogh on Sky Arte

The Sky Arte evening on Saturday, September 15, 2018 will be devoted entirely to Vincent Van Gogh (Zundert, 1853 - Auvers-sur-Oise, 1890).

From 9:15 p.m. viewers will be able to watch in succession"Loving Vincent," the film composed solely of paintings, directed by Polish painter Dorota Kobiela and British director Hugh Welchman. An account of Van Gogh’s life and artistic activity through 60,000 handmade canvases.

The evening will continue with the Andrew Hutton-directed docu-film"Van Gogh - Letters from Madness": the collection of more than nine hundred letters written by the artist to his brother Theo over eighteen years inspired the screening.
