Luisa Papotti is the new president of Fondazione per l'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea CRT

New President of the CRT Foundation for Modern and Contemporary Art appointed: she is Luisa Papotti, who succeeds Anna Ferrino.

Luisa Papotti is the new president of the Fondazione per l’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea CRT. The Fondazione CRT Board of Directors, chaired by Giovanni Quaglia, officially appointed her to the post.

Formerly Soprintendente Archeologia Belle Arti e Paesaggio for the metropolitan city of Turin, Luisa Papotti succeeds Anna Ferrino at the head of the Fondazione Arte’s Cda, also composed of Caterina Bima (notary) and Gianni Arnaudo (architect). The task of the BoD will be to redefine the statutes of Fondazione Arte, in close connection with Fondazione CRT.

“I would like to thank Anna Ferrino and Marco Giovannini, outgoing Chairman and Board member respectively, for their great commitment to supporting, promoting and enhancing the contemporary art system as a factor of cultural, social and economic development of the territory and the country,” says Fondazione CRT Chairman Giovanni Quaglia.

Established in 2000 by Fondazione CRT, the Fondazione per l’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea CRT enriches and enhances modern and contemporary art both through the acquisition of new works and through actions and projects for the development, strengthening and efficiency of the entire system. The historic Fondazione Arte CRT Collection consists of nine hundred works by more than three hundred artists from around the world with an invested value of more than 40 million euros. The collection is entirely available to the community, starting with visitors to the Galleria d’Arte Moderna di Torino, Castello di Rivoli and the OGR.
