Anna Di Prospero's photographs enter the Farnesina Collection. Self-portraits against the backdrop of the most important contemporary architecture of Europe and the United States.

Entering the Farnesina Collection are the photographs of Anna Di Prospero (Rome, 1987): Untitled (Den Blå Planet - Copenhagen, Denmark, 2015) and Untitled (Auditorium Oscar Niemeyer - Ravello, Italy, 2015).

The photographer’s research is characterized by the introspective mark with which she explores everyday life and the relationship between man and space, social and urban. In particular, in the Urban Self-portrait series (2010-2015), Anna Di Prospero created a series of original self-portraits against the backdrop of the most important contemporary architecture in Europe and the United States.

With an almost performative approach, in the images the photographer herself portrays herself in plastic positions that create a formal correspondence and continuity with the geometric trajectories of the buildings, in a synergistic and sensual dialogue with the spirit of the place. Among the venues chosen for the project are the Oscar Niemeyer Auditorium in Ravello (Sa) and the National Aquarium of Denmark, Den Blå Planet, in Copenhagen.
