From Italy to Europe, a busy week of auction sales: from Cambi to Colasanti, via Gonnelli, Capitolium Art and Maison Bibelot, to the big international squares with Dorotheum, Phillips, Bonhams and Christie's. A busy calendar for collectors and enthusiasts.

The week of September 5-10, 2025 promises to be a lively one, with offerings ranging from modern and contemporary art and jewelry to design and decorative arts. Here are our proposals.

On the national front, the offerings are varied and cover different areas of collecting. The Genoese auction house Cambi is offering an online auction of Modern and Contemporary Art that will end on September 5, offering a wide selection of 20th-century works. Several notable events are concentrated on Sept. 9. Gonnelli, in Florence, will close its timed auction of Ancient, Modern and Contemporary Art (Part I), an opportunity to explore a diverse catalog spanning different eras and styles. On the same day, Maison Bibelot, also in the Tuscan capital, will complete its online sale entitled Dèballage. Occasions in Auction, an ideal appointment for those in search of furnishing objects and curiosities. Also on Sept. 9, Capitolium Art in Brescia will hold an online auction of Modern and Contemporary Art, presenting a selection of works by Italian and international artists.

The international scene also presents a wealth of opportunities. On Sept. 4, the Phillips Watches Online Auction: The Geneva Sessions Fall 2025 kicked off in Geneva, a highly anticipated event for lovers of fine watchmaking that will run through Sept. 12.

Beginning Sept. 8, Bonhams in London will offer an interesting selection of British and European Art online, an auction that will continue through the 17th of the month. Finally, on Sept. 10, Christie’s will launch the Indian, Himalayan and Southeast Asian Works of Art selection , including Property from the Pal Family Collection, a globally resonant event that will run through Sept. 24.
