Pop up. The world of photography in support of the Pavia Polyclinic.

More than 75 Italian and foreign photographers are participating in the Pop up charity project in support of Policlinico San Matteo in Pavia.

The historic CFO - Circolo Fotografico Oltrepò of Broni (PV) - and theSpazio53 Association of Voghera (PV) have created the Pop Up (Photographers Oltrepò Pavese - United Projet) charity project for a fundraiser in support of the San Matteo Polyclinic in Pavia. More than 75 Italian and foreign photographers are participating in the initiative, providing their shots that can be purchased.

The project was a great success and in just four days more than fifty photographs were sold.

The photographers involved come not only from Oltrepò Pavese, but from all over Italy, joined by the American Harry De Zitter, and many of those who exhibited during the last edition of Voghera Fotografia.

“We decided to carry out a project starting from the strength of the silence of photographs,” said Mauro Negri and Luca Tres, of CFO, with Arnaldo Calanca, of Spazio53, “out of respect for those who, every day and in silence, with great dignity and immense professionalism, fight for all of us. Photography has always been a privileged look at external reality and, in its close relationship with the latter, it becomes a means to create knowledge and consciousness, to unite and share, to provide the gaze with a different point of arrival. And, in this moment, to open new visions when we are all necessarily limited in our external vision.”

Each photographer has donated one or more photographs to the project-the photos chosen do not have a direct thread to the work of doctors and nurses, but each is simply intended to recall what the eyes sometimes fail to see.

Proceeds from the sale of the photographs, which can be purchased with a minimum contribution of 50 euros each, will be donated to the IRCCS Policlinico San Matteo Foundation of Pavia.
The photographs will be sent to donors within 30 days of purchase.

The list of works with their authors can be found at http://www.popupfotografia.it, , where donations can also be made.
