Toscana Contemporanea, the official guide to contemporary art venues in Tuscany, is now available completely free of charge. The agile volume (a project of Toscana Promozione Turistica, edited by the staff of the Centro Pecci in Prato (editorial editor is Stefano Pezzato) and published by Gruppo Editoriale) gathers all the destinations and attractions for discovering contemporary Tuscany: public art spread in urban spaces, art parks and gardens, major museums and collections, thematic and business museums, contemporary architecture mainly for public, institutional and cultural use, auteur wineries, dozens of the most interesting events of recent times.

This is the first time Tuscany’s contemporary art heritage has been included in a guidebook. “We are very satisfied with Toscana contemporanea,” says Francesco Palumbo, director of Toscana Promozione Turistica, “because for the first time we have collected in a guide contemporary art places and resources that become thematic routes and travel motivations.
