Black stars at Villa Bardini

Until July 9, 2017, black will be the protagonist of a group exhibition at Villa Bardini in Florence: painting, sculpture and fashion linked by a single color.

Through July 9, 2017, Villa Bardini in Florence is hosting"Nero su Nero. From Fontana and Kounellis to Galliani," a group exhibition of contemporary art.

Thirty-one masterpieces by contemporary artists, such as Lucio Fontana, Alberto Burri, Vincenzo Agnetti, Jannis Kounellis, Tano Festa, and Omar Galliani, showing how the color black has been used in painting and wall sculpture. Accompanying the works are Roberto Capucci’s black clothes: the Villa houses the Capucci Museum inside, which, for the duration of the group show, will present only models in black.

The exhibition is curated by Vera Agosti and is promoted by the Fondazione Parchi Monumentali Bardini e Peyron in collaboration with Tornabuoni Arte and the Roberto Capucci Foundation.
The catalog is published by Prearo Editore.
