Covid cancels FIAC 2020. Postponed to next year

The 2020 edition, what was supposed to be the 47th edition, was scheduled to take place at the Grand Palais from October 22 to 25, but was canceled by mutual agreement among organizers, exhibitors, collectors, visitors, and partners.

On the official website of the international fair, a note reads, “Despite great determination to organize FIAC, the only occasion that brings together specialists in modern and contemporary art, in 2020, and efforts to overcome the difficulties caused by the health crisis, the fair is not in a position to organize an event that meets the expectations of its exhibitors.” Also canceled are all scheduled events at the other venues: Hors les murs, Al Petit Palais, the Tuileries Garden, the Eugène-Delacroix National Museum, Place Vendôme, and Place de la Concorde.

FIAC will fully reimburse exhibitors. It also announces that the 47th edition will be held at the Grand Palais Éphémère from October 21-24, 2021: so see you next year.
