Nineteen emerging photographers participate in GeneraHumana, international exhibition in Cisternino

From August 23 to 25, 2019, Cisternino (Brindisi) will host the GeneraHumana photography group exhibition, featuring nineteen young international emerging artists.

From August 23 to 25, 2019, the second edition of the Genera Festival People mean the world will be held in the Civic Tower of Cisternino (Brindisi) with the collective photography exhibition GeneraHumana.

Nineteen young international emerging artists will present their experiences, emotions and reflections on the importance that each person has for themselves and their world: through their photographs they will express the beauty and complexity of a generation.

Various themes will be addressed: from archetypal suggestions to indigenous rituals, the relationship with one’s land and family ties, through the link between body and land to civil rebellion against climate change; from reflections on pleasure to the unveiling of bodies, intimacy, the perception of one’s own body, and loneliness.

The group show is curated by Annalaura Tamburrini in collaboration with Officine Fotografiche Roma.

Inauguration Friday, August 23 at 6 pm.
