Rome, Eros is the theme of the 2020 Roma Fotografia festival

At Palazzo Merulana, the 2020 edition of Roma Fotografia will be inaugurated on Feb. 22, which this year outlines the contours and nuances of the extraordinary force that moves the world: Desire.

A cultural proposal that investigates the relationship between photography and art in general with the theme of desire, passion and beauty. The goal is to stimulate research into the deeper motivations and drives that animate dreams and the daily actions that aim to realize them. To rediscover the talent, abilities, potentialities, and aspirations that find in art the ideal tool of expression.

The event will take place in Rome from February 22 to April 6 in collaboration with several cultural institutions including CoopCulture, Cerasi Foundation, Domitian Stadium, Istituto Luce Cinecittà and the patronage of the Lazio Region and Roma Capitale.

In conjunction with the opening of Roma Fotografia 2020 EROS the exhibition Tina Modotti L’Eros della rivoluzione opens the exhibition program at Palazzo Merulana from February 22 to March 8, 2020.
