Seven days dedicated to street art: the first urban arts festival in Molinella

From August 31 to September 6, 2020, the first ArtU - Urban Arts Festival will take place in Molinella (Bologna).

In recent years, the Municipality of Molinella has begun to invest in small interventions of urban regeneration, especially on buildings belonging totally or partially to the public heritage, in civic centers, in green areas and in private buildings, where a plus for the public was evident.

ArtU intends to be an organic project involving a plurality of arts, artists and institutions; in fact, the festival takes place in Molinella, but also involves some neighboring municipalities with which collaborations had already taken place.

It will be seven days of major initiatives involving various points of the town, including the neighboring hamlets, and the historic center of Molinella: among them, street art interventions in about twenty different sites, workshop and educational activities aimed at various groups, especially children, an exhibition space updated every day with the processing materials to which will be added multimedia material from all the sites being processed, contemporary dance and urban dance performances, musical performances, and the presentation of the urban regeneration project of Piazza Massarenti.

The event is organized by Animal Blue House, ProLoco Molinella and the Municipality of Molinella.
