State museums and cultural sites open at Easter and Easter Monday for art-filled days


On Easter and Easter Monday, state museums, exhibitions, archaeological parks and cultural venues will be extraordinarily open for days of art.

Easter and Easter Monday under the banner ofart: on Sunday, April 17 and Monday, April 18, state museums and exhibitions, monuments, galleries, archaeological parks and cultural sites will be open extraordinarily to enjoy Italy’s artistic and scenic treasures. From the National Galleries of Ancient Art - Palazzo Barberini and Galleria Corsini to the Baths of Caracalla, from the Archaeological Park of the Colosseum to the Archaeological Park of the Appia Antica, from the Ducal Palace of Mantua to the Scaliger Castle of Sirmione, from the Pinacoteca di Brera to the Museum of the Cenacolo Vinciano, to the Certosa of Pavia, from the Museum and Real Bosco of Capodimonte to the Royal Palace of Naples.

The Ministry of Culture recommends consulting the websites of museums and archaeological parks before planning a visit.

As a reminder, as of April 1, 2022, access to all state cultural sites no longer requires an enhanced green pass, nor a basic green pass, while the requirement to use surgical masks remains.
