Walk inside a Brugel work: a multimedia show in Brussels to enter the works of the great painter

Brussels, from April 6, 2019 to January 31, 2020, the Palais de la Dynastie hosts the multimedia event 'Beyond Bruegel.

To commemorate the 450th anniversary of the death of Pieter Bruegel the Elder (Breda, c. 1525-Brussels, 1569), several initiatives (some of which we had already anticipated) are being prepared in Flanders. In addition to exhibitions with original works, however, there will also be room for multimedia: so the city of Brussels, where Bruegel spent the last years of his existence, is paying tribute to him with a multimedia event that promises to be spectacular. The project, titled Beyond Bruegel, runs at the Palais de la Dynastie from April 6, 2019 to January 31, 2020.

Dedicated to the life and works of Bruegel, the multimedia show aims to bring the public inside the artist’s works, as visitors will find themselves completely immersed in Bruegel’s world and will have the chance to walk among the army of Marguerite the Mad, find themselves on a ship at the foot of the Tower of Babel, or in the presence of the extraordinary characters that are the fruit of the painter’s extraordinary imagination. For more information you can visit the Flemish Masters program website under which Beyond Bruegel also falls, or visit the event’s official website.
