A portrait of a wild planet to document a fragile world we are in danger of losing

The Civic Museum of Zoology in Rome is hosting the exhibition Portrait of a Savage Planet through Feb. 24, 2019, to document a fragile world at risk.

A photography exhibition documenting natural wonders to raise awareness of the beauty and fragility of the natural world is on view at the Civic Museum of Zoology in Rome until Feb. 24, 2019. The shots are part of a project by nature photographer Simone Sbaraglia that aims to show the character of mutability and change, typical of the Earth’s current state.
Portrait of a Wild Planet is thus a project that represents a fragile world, one that is changing very rapidly and which, just as rapidly, we are in danger of losing.

Several backstage videos, an interview with the author and technical videos give amultimedia feel to the review.

This is a project in stages that, after the Museo Civico Zoologia, will tour Italy and abroad; the images on display will vary from stage to stage as the project itself evolves, creating a portrait of our planet in constant evolution and change.

Simone Sbaraglia, FUJIFILM ITALY Ambassador X-Photographer, has dedicated more than three years to this project, traveling the world to unearth the places and species that still resist and are still able to give us those emotions that only contact with unspoiled nature can give. Telling the story of their beauty has always been a priority for the artist, and it is even more so today, a time when we are unfortunately losing so many of those wild paradises.
