Doisneau's most famous photographs soon to be exhibited at Broletto in Pavia

Robert Doisneau's most famous photographs will be exhibited at the Broletto in Pavia from October 14, 2017 to January 28, 2018.

The exhibition"Robert Doisneau. Fisherman of Images" will be welcomed at the Broletto in Pavia from October 14, 2017 to January 28, 2018.

In the heart of the city, in the historic 12th century palace, visitors will be able to admire seventy photographs by the famous 20th century photographer tracing his career.

On display are"Le Baiser de l’Hôtel de Ville,""Les pains de Picasso,""Prévert au guéridon," the many shots depicting children, animals, lovers, as well as his 1949 Self-Portrait, with which the exhibition opens.
Each of his shots recounts the everyday, which often becomes unusual-that’s why you have to be good at “fishing” for images at the right time-in Paris.

The exhibition is curated by the Atelier Robert Doisneau - Francine Deroudille and Annette Doisneau - in collaboration with Professor Piero Pozzi, produced and realized by Di Chroma Photography and ViDi - Visit Different, in collaboration with the Fondazione Teatro Fraschini and the Municipality of Pavia - Culture Sector.
A Skira catalog accompanies the exhibition.
